On Thursday,14 March 2024, Art for Guernsey hosted members of Autism Guernsey’s My Time Play Time and Amazing Club to celebrate Neurodiversity Week.
As you can see from the photos, it was a brilliant session!
The children were first asked to make marks on paper to represent the sounds they were hearing from musical instruments. They then went on to paint to music, using the sounds to influence their work and the work of Wassily Kandinsky as inspiration.
The artwork created will be mounted and displayed upstairs at the Mill Street Gallery for 4 weeks commencing Tuesday, 19 March 2024. We encourage you to go and see this wonderful artwork.
